The aim of the Food Production and Marketing Action Planning Team is to increase consumption of locally produced food, and production and consumption of organically produced food, and home food gardening.
Food is a major contributor to greenhouse gas production, as well as being integral to health.
Current projects we are working on include:
- community gardens
- making allotment gardens available
- discussion group on local food marketing
The Food Production and Marketing APT meets on the 3rd Thursday of the month at 5pm at the Bathurst Agricultural Research Station, Research Station Road.
