Excursion to Rock Forest sustainable home
On Saturday, April 4, 2009 at 2pm a small group of BCCAN members assembled at Deirdre Stuebe's house at Rock Forest to take a tour of her eco-friendly home. The house has an earth roof and sides and a bank of north-facing windows. The thermal mass in the roof and sides, along with a convection air-flow system, keep the house at a comfortable temperature year round. See the slide show here.
