On Friday May 10 at 6 for 6.30pm BCCAN will be showing two powerful short documentaries relating to climate change and fossil fuels.
The first is “Accelerate” which follows climate leader and founder of 350.org, Bill McKibben on his 2018 tour of Australia.
The second is “Pilliga Rising” which follows four members of a small community trying to ward off coal seam gas in northern New South Wales.
The event will be held at Rahamim, 34 Busby Street, South Bathurst on Friday May 10 at 6pm. There will be “soup and chat” from 6pm, with the movies starting sharp at 6.30pm. The movies are 30 minutes and 38 minutes long respectively.
The night is free but you’re encouraged to make a gold coin donation to cover the catering. There will be soup, bread, tea and coffee available.
