Dear prospective conference speakers/potential registrants,
Please find attached a short newsletter confirming our resolve to hold the Biodiversity Dreaming Conference at CSU on the 10th and 11th of November 2015, in spite of a number of complicating hiccups. We will provide you with an updated programme late next week as well as registration and speaker forms for completion.
Previously we have suggested to you a number of pre-conference readings that we hope you will take the time to read. These are:
· Gammage , W. (2011)The Biggest Estate on Earth- How Aborigines Made Australia. Allen and Unwin.
· Main, G. (2005) Heartland – The Regeneration of Rural Place. UNSW Press.
To this list I would like to add a paper that the Royal Zoological Society of NSW has allowed us to distribute. The pdf is attached.
· Kerle, A., Goldney, D. and Fleming, M. (2014) Habitat loss and landscape degradation: the disastrous outlook for vertebrates fauna in central western NSW. Australian Zoologist Vol 37 (1) pp 10 – 74
I have also attached a conference flyer that I hope you might display in a prominent position and bring to the attention of others. .
If perchance you are unable to participate in the conference, then could you please let me know as soon as possible.
Yours Sincerely
David Goldney
